• The Institut Universitaire Professionalisé for Mathematics and Computer Engineering at the University of Avignon (IUP GMI)
• Computer Science Laboratory of Avignon which welcomes a large number of foreign researchers
• The Geomatics Laboratory of Avignon is an ESPACE program team which brings together the CNRS and five universities: Université de Provence (Aix-Marseille I), Université Méditerranée (Aix-Marseille II ), Avignon et des Pays du Vaucluse and Nice (Sophia-Antipolis).
• A global competitive cluster – the Secure Communications Solutions (SCS) cluster. Secure Communications Solutions use special equipment and software to transmit, exchange and process information in a secure and reliable way. In the PACA region, this cluster represents 41,000 jobs, 8,000 researchers and R&D engineers, 14 schools and over 100 group projects.

Support centers welcome and assist businesses in the field of ICT: CREATIVA business incubator, Saint-Anne service –industry business parks, Courtine TGV, etc.
